Dear Diary, this is TURTLE CONSERVATION with EKAD

In this second DOVE entry "on the road" Jakob talks to Deniz. A biologist and science-writer from Izmir, Turkey. Deniz is the coordinator for education programs of EKAD - the Ecological Research Association (Ekolojik Araştırmalar Derneği). Founded in Ankara, EKAD mainly operates in Antalya, on the Turkish mediterranean coast. There, their focus lies on the protection and conservation of sea turtle populations.

In this entry into the "Diary Of Volunteers on Earth" Deniz and Jakob talk about EKADs volunteering program but also dive deep into topics like evolution and our role in nature and the universe - topics that Deniz also works on as a science-writer and editor.
