Dear Diary, this is a DEEP DOVE on STERNSINGEN

In the 5th DOVE-entry Jakob talked to Julia Radlingmayer from the styrian Catholic Youth Movement and the Heubergers, a family of four. The Catholic Youth Movement organizes the so called "Dreikönigsaktion" that carries on the tradition of Epiphany Singing in Austria. A tradition that dates back to the 14th century and was revived in Austria in the 50s. The Heubergers are four of the more than 85.000 'Sternsinger' that go from door to door in Austria.

In this DEEP DOVE Jakob talks about some of the topics that came up during his conversations. For example the issue of White Saviorism or Blackfacing. He also remembers his own experiencces as a 'Sternsinger' when he was in primary school.
